Paris Nord Villepinte is the venue that large trade fairs and international conventions choose when the exhibition floor matters as much as the plenary. Its nine halls cover 250,000 m² of modular space, and its position on the RER B line between central Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport means that exhibitors and visitors flying in can reach the halls without crossing the city.
Trade shows, international exhibitions and conventions whose exhibition area runs to tens of thousands of square metres, as well as corporate events that need a hall to be fitted out from scratch. The two amphitheatres of up to 628 seats and the 38 meeting rooms handle conference programmes and side meetings; for a seated plenary of several thousand people in central Paris, the Paris Convention Centre or the Palais des Congrès are the natural alternatives.
The RER B stops at Parc des Expositions, on the site itself, and the same line serves Charles de Gaulle airport in one direction and Gare du Nord and Châtelet in the other. During major trade fairs the line is very busy at opening and closing times, so plan shuttle coaches from partner hotels for VIP guests and speakers, and give every attendee clear directions from the station to the right hall. The busiest trade fair seasons fill the calendar well in advance, so a large event should be booked twelve to eighteen months ahead. As in any exhibition centre, the build-up and breakdown schedule, delivery access for trucks and the power available per stand are set by the venue's technical rules, which every supplier must receive before load-in.
