The Maison de la Chimie is one of the most complete conference centres in central Paris, and one of the few where a large amphitheatre, a garden and historic salons sit within the same address. Its location in the ministerial quarter of the 7th arrondissement makes it a frequent choice for institutional, scientific and professional congresses.
Congresses and conventions of up to 853 participants in the Amphithéâtre Lavoisier, with breakout sessions in the smaller amphitheatre and the modular rooms; international conferences that need interpretation booths; and receptions or lunches in the historic salons and the garden during the fine season. The overall capacity of 10 to 1,600 participants covers most association and corporate meetings.
With the plenary on the first floor and about twenty rooms spread over several levels, the building works best when the programme is mapped room by room early, including coffee breaks and catering areas.
