The Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile is the obvious companion to the Palais des Congrès, to which it is directly connected, but it is also a venue in its own right. Its Regency ballroom is one of the largest hotel event spaces in Paris, which allows a congress satellite symposium, a gala dinner or a corporate convention to take place with bedrooms, kitchens and meeting rooms under one roof.
Satellite symposia and sponsor dinners during congresses at the Palais des Congrès, corporate conventions and product presentations for several hundred people, and residential meetings where delegates sleep, meet and dine in the same building. With nearly a thousand bedrooms, it is one of the few Paris hotels able to house a large delegation on site.
The Regency ballroom can be used whole or divided, so the same floor can host a plenary in the morning and a smaller dinner in the evening. The 13 Lab rooms have daylight, which makes them better suited to working sessions than the ballroom sections, whose 3-metre ceiling also limits the height of stage sets and projection screens. For a cocktail with a view, the Windo Skybar on the 34th floor offers two private areas.
Because the hotel shares its surroundings with the Palais des Congrès, congress weeks bring heavy traffic, full restaurants and high room rates; check the Paris congress calendar before fixing your dates.
