Few Paris addresses combine a monumental courtyard, remarkable Rococo interiors and the calm of an institution devoted to history. The Hôtel de Soubise is not a commercial venue but a public heritage site, and events take place there under the rules and rates set by the Archives nationales.
Summer receptions and cocktails in the Cour d’honneur, prestige dinners or concerts in the state salons, and smaller gatherings in the Galerie d’Assy for up to 70 guests, which can be extended into its garden. The setting suits institutional events, cultural sponsorship evenings and brand events with a heritage story.
The rental period includes installation and removal, so a four-hour evening slot leaves little time once the caterer and technical teams have set up. Security and reception staff are not included in the rental and must be added, and supervision by the Archives’ agents is charged by the hour. As in any listed monument, décor and technical installations are subject to the protection of the building.
In the Marais, compare the Carreau du Temple for a larger covered hall; other heritage venues are compared in our guide to unique event spaces in Paris.
