Few Paris venues combine a major cultural address, contemporary architecture and a central location as the Bourse de Commerce does. Its rotunda, restored by Tadao Ando within the historic building, gives receptions a setting that guests remember, while the auditorium and foyer on the lower level allow a conference or a presentation to precede the evening.
Evening receptions and dinners for clients or partners, product and brand presentations for a culture-minded audience, conferences of up to about 280 people in the auditorium followed by a cocktail in the foyer, breakfasts and private visits of the exhibitions. It is less suited to events that need long daytime access, since private hire is organised around the museum’s public opening hours.
Events take place in the morning before opening or in the evening after closing, so installation windows are short and every supplier must work to a precise schedule. Only accredited caterers may serve, and some items, such as champagne, must be reserved about a month ahead according to the museum. As in any museum, decoration, lighting and furniture are subject to the conservation rules of the building: submit your plans early.
