How we select venues and partners, how we maintain editorial independence, how we identify the people behind the work, and how we handle corrections. Updated 6 June 2026.
B2BVENUES is an editorially curated network of Paris event venues, restaurants and partners, operated by B2B VENUES LLC. International event planners rely on the selection to compress the venue-sourcing process from days into a single short conversation. The standards on this page describe how that selection is built, who is accountable for it, and where the limits of our editorial independence sit. We publish this page openly because trust in a curated selection is only worth what its methodology can be checked against.
Publisher: B2B VENUES LLC — 501 Silverside Rd, Ste 105, Wilmington, DE 19809, United States.
Director of Publication: Nick Fontaine. The Director of Publication carries final editorial accountability for content published on the site, including selection decisions, partner verification standards and the correction process described below.
Editorial team: The B2BVENUES editorial team includes professionals with hands-on experience in Paris event production, venue operations, audiovisual delivery and corporate hospitality. The team is concentrated on Paris and routinely conducts site visits, partner debriefs and event observations as part of ongoing maintenance of the selection.
Contact: All editorial requests — corrections, fact-checking queries, press use — should be submitted via the contact form. We acknowledge editorial requests within one working day.
Inclusion in any B2BVENUES selection is an editorial decision, not a paid placement. Selection follows a four-step process:
Candidates surface from three sources: direct knowledge from the editorial team's working files, observation across events delivered in Paris, and recommendations from trusted operators in the Paris event industry (agencies, AV teams, producers, caterers). We do not aggregate from public directories.
Each candidate is reviewed against documented criteria: track record on briefs comparable to those of our reader base; technical readiness (capacity, configuration, AV infrastructure, accessibility); operational reliability (staff competence, response time, contract clarity); ERP and prefecture compliance where applicable; editorial fit with the rest of the selection in the same category.
Where the venue or partner has not been worked with directly by a member of the editorial team within the prior eighteen months, a site visit or live event observation is scheduled before inclusion. Brochure material is not accepted as substitute evidence.
Final inclusion is signed off by the Director of Publication. Selections are reviewed every six to nine months. Venues or partners whose performance, ownership or technical condition has materially changed are flagged, re-evaluated, and removed where appropriate.
B2B VENUES LLC operates on an introduction-fee model. Where a client engages a featured venue or partner following an introduction we have made, a fee may be paid by the venue or partner to B2B VENUES LLC. This commercial structure is disclosed on this page because readers are entitled to know it. It does not influence inclusion in editorial selections, and it does not influence the editorial assessment of any other venue or partner.
Specifically:
Where a venue or partner is mentioned in editorial content (blog articles, editorial introductions, guides), and a commercial relationship exists, this is the standing disclosure for the entire site.
Articles on B2BVENUES rely on three categories of source: (1) direct observation by the editorial team in the course of Paris event sourcing, (2) primary sources — venue contracts, prefecture documentation, ERP attestations, ADEME or Greenview methodologies, AFNOR/ISO standards documentation, and (3) named industry interviewees from operators we have worked with. Numerical claims (€ ranges, capacity figures, market shares, scope-of-spend percentages) reflect editorial team experience across hundreds of Paris event briefs and are intended as planning baselines, not definitive market data.
Where an article presents a number, it is either drawn from a named institutional methodology, observed across our working files, or sourced from a named industry operator. Numbers that cannot be substantiated against one of these three categories are not published.
The editorial team uses generative AI tools for draft assistance, syntax review and research synthesis. Every published article is edited, fact-checked and signed off by a named member of the editorial team. No article is published in fully AI-generated form. AI is not used to fabricate venue details, pricing data, capacity figures or interviewees.
If a reader, venue or partner identifies a factual error in published content, we acknowledge the request within one working day and act on legitimate corrections within five working days. Corrections are made transparently: the article is updated, and a brief note is added at the foot of the article indicating the nature of the correction and the date. Where the correction materially changes the conclusion of the article, the correction note is published at the top of the article in addition to the foot.
For substantive disputes — for example, an editorial assessment a venue contests — we offer to publish a brief, signed response from the venue or partner at the foot of the article, while maintaining the editorial assessment.
Personal data submitted via the contact form or processed via analytics is governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with the EU GDPR for European visitors and operate Google Consent Mode v2 with default-denied analytics. Reader identity and brief details are never shared with venues or partners without explicit consent.
We do not operate a request-and-wait directory platform. We do not aggregate public venue listings. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored selections or rank-for-fee arrangements. We do not auto-generate venue descriptions from third-party data feeds. We do not republish venue press releases as editorial content.
The editorial team's working knowledge is concentrated on Paris and the Île-de-France region. We do not publish editorial assessments of venues outside this geography. London editorial coverage is planned for late 2026, and New York for 2027 — each will be staffed by editors with comparable local working knowledge before launch.
Readers who believe an editorial decision warrants reconsideration — whether inclusion of a venue, an assessment, or a correction request — may write to the Director of Publication via the contact form. The Director acknowledges appeals within one working day and responds substantively within five working days.
These editorial standards were first published on 6 June 2026 and are reviewed at least annually. The current version is the version published on this page. Material changes will be noted with a dated revision summary at the foot of the page.
Four-step process: 1) initial identification from our editorial team's working files, observation across Paris events, and recommendations from trusted operators; 2) evidence review against documented criteria; 3) site visit or live event observation (brochures are not accepted as substitute); 4) sign-off by the Director of Publication. Selections are reviewed every six to nine months.
No. Inclusion in any selection is decided on editorial criteria only. We operate on an introduction-fee model — a fee may be paid by a featured venue or partner when a client engages them following our introduction — but no venue or partner can purchase inclusion, rank position, or favourable description.
We acknowledge correction requests within one working day and act on legitimate corrections within five working days. Corrections are made transparently: the article is updated with a brief note at the foot indicating the nature of the correction and the date. Material changes are also flagged at the top.
